Le parc des oiseaux

The Parc des Oiseaux, at Villars-les-Dombes in the Ain, presents some 2,000 birds from around the world, from hummingbirds to ostriches, on 23 hectares of water, light and flowers, in the heart of the Dombes.

The chick house, a hatching laboratory open to the public, lets visitors watch birds being born. Allow two to three hours for the visit. A little train, outdoor games, picnic areas, a snack bar and a shop complete the site.
