Château du Sou

The Château du Sou is a former 14th-century fortified house, altered in the 19th century, in the commune of Lacenas, in the Rhône. It is a private château. Its fortified gateway has been listed as a historic monument since 1933.

A park with a medieval garden surrounds the château. The wash house at the entrance to the avenue leading to the château is fed by a fountain. The château can be seen from outside during a walk in the village of Lacenas, in the heart of the Beaujolais.
