Château de Senonches
The Château de Senonches, in the Eure-et-Loir, houses a museum space devoted to its natural heritage: the forest. The state forest of Senonches now covers 4,287 hectares; it is the largest in the Eure-et-Loir and the Perche Regional Nature Park, and one of the largest in France.
The modern, interactive route first introduces the forest ecosystem, then the riches of the Senonches forest. It also traces its history and the lives of the men and women who lived from it and looked after it.
