Château de Ravignan
The Château de Ravignan is a Gascon château in the Bas-Armagnac (Landes). Since 1732 the Ravignan family has been making armagnac here. The Louis XIII-style house opens onto a French formal park.
The visit of the estate covers the history of the family, that of the region and the production of armagnac. A booklet for children aged 6 to 10 offers crosswords and riddles about the ship Neptune. Antique furniture, more than four hundred drawings and engravings of Henry IV and a collection of 18th-century town and court costumes are among the highlights.
In 2026, an exhibition of sculptures by Nicolas de la Barre is announced from 1 May to 30 September, and the distillation festival takes place on 28 and 29 November. The estate remains a working wine farm.
