Château de Lucinière
The Château de Lucinière is in the commune of Joué-sur-Erdre, in the Loire-Atlantique. Its construction spans the 17th to the 19th century, giving it a composite architecture. Several elements are protected as historic monuments, notably the chapel, the orangery and the panelled dining room.
The owners attribute the park to Le Nôtre; it continues into meadows where a herd of Nantaise cows grazes. The château is private property and not regularly open, but it welcomes the public during the European Heritage Days, with access to the chapel and the park. For other visits, enquire at Joué-sur-Erdre town hall.
