Château de la Fontaine
The Château de la Fontaine, in the Rhône, is a small Renaissance château of the 15th, 16th and 17th centuries, listed as a historic monument. It has two wings at right angles, framed by four elegant pepper-pot turrets with metal cones.
The east-west wing has two storeys of galleries on columns, served by a turret with scalloped tiles. The north-south wing, two storeys high, has flat mullioned windows and a monumental entrance door framed by dressed stone. The manor's outbuildings (wine press house and barn) date from the 17th and 18th centuries.
