Château de La Colle Noire
On the edge of Provence, at Montauroux in the Var, the Château de la Colle Noire overlooks the valley and offers a panoramic view of the hilltop villages.
Built in 1860 by Henry Emmanuel Poulle, it was restored and transformed by Christian Dior from 1950 to 1957, under the direction of the architect André Svetchine. Its five-hectare park contains a private 19th-century chapel, consecrated and dedicated to Saint Anne.
The house now hosts private events.
