Château de l'Herm
Built at the end of the 15th century, the Château de l'Herm in the Dordogne was abandoned after a series of crimes. Eugène Le Roy later used it as the setting for his novel 'Jacquou le Croquant', adapted for television in 1969 and for the cinema by Laurent Boutonnat in 2007.
This romantic, partly ruined place is coming back to life thanks to conservation work, historical and archaeological research, and the concerts held there in summer.
