Château de Corcelle
The buildings of the Château de Corcelle, in the Saône-et-Loire, are arranged around a rectangular inner courtyard and linked by sections of curtain wall; they are surrounded on three sides by partly filled ditches. This quadrilateral is flanked by round towers at the north-east and south-west corners.
The main residence, set against the east curtain wall, has a rectangular wing on its east façade, facing the farmyard. A round-arched carriage gate next to a basket-arched pedestrian door gives access to the farmyard.
