Château d'Ermenonville

Oise, Hauts-de-France

In the heart of the princely forests, opposite the Jean-Jacques Rousseau park and surrounded by moats, the Château d'Ermenonville, in the Oise, is reflected in the waters of the Launette.

Its exterior architecture follows the aesthetic canons of the Age of Enlightenment. Inside, it combines a majestic hall, a restaurant in salons with remarkable panelling, and quiet rooms looking out over the gardens. The château is now a hotel and is not open to visitors.
