Château d'Eliçabéa
The château was built from 1660 to 1663 for Jean-Armand du Peyrer, Count of Tréville and former captain-lieutenant of Louis XIII's company of musketeers, immortalised by Alexandre Dumas in The Three Musketeers. François Mansart is said to have drawn up the plans.
Standing on a terrace above the Saison, it faces the mountains of Haute-Soule. It has two storeys, and its main façade has mullioned windows framed by two projecting wings. The English-style park, planted in the mid-19th century, covers 6 hectares.
