Cathédrale d'Evry

Essonne, Île-de-France

The Cathedral of the Resurrection and Saint Corbinian is a Catholic diocesan cathedral dedicated to Bishop Corbinian of Freising, born in the 7th century at Arpajon, in what is now the diocese of Évry. It stands in Évry-Courcouronnes, in the Essonne, and was completed in 1995.

Apart from the Basilica-Cathedral of Notre-Dame-de-la-Treille in Lille, considered by some to be unfinished but begun in 1854, the cathedral of Évry is the only one built in France in the 20th century.
