Cascade du Saut-Grand
The Cayla stream descends from the heights of the Ségala, in the north of the Lot, towards the Cère valley. On its course, above the village of Latouille-Lentillac, it forms a fall known as the Saut Grand, which plunges about fifteen metres.
The site lies in a very enclosed and wooded valley, typical of the Ségala. A marked path, the Saut Grand path, starts from car parks at the top and bottom of the valley. From the lower car park, several crossings of the stream are needed to reach the foot of the waterfall, which requires caution when banks are wet or the flow high.
Going up the stream, you discover other small falls, the Sauts du Cayla. The place suits a walk in the middle of nature, in a cool and wild setting.
