Grotte de Presque

5 km from Saint-Céré (Lot). Visit lasts 40 minutes. The visitor discovers an uninterrupted series of concretions of all shapes and varied tints, highlighted by electric lighting modernised in recent years. Besides its concretions, the Grottes de Presque offer to the eye numerous stalagmitic pillars 8 to 10 metres high, some of great fineness such as "les Cierges" (the candles).
