Cascade des Palanges (Agen d'Aveyron)

Aveyron, Occitanie

The Palanges waterfall is in the Palanges forest, in the commune of Agen-d'Aveyron, not far from Rodez. It is a two-level fall, reached by a short loop walk from a small car park along departmental road 29.

The path climbs from the start, then divides: one path goes down to the foot of the waterfall, another passes above. The route is family-friendly but fairly steep and stony in places, and requires good shoes. Caution is needed near the edge, especially with young children.

The setting is wooded and cool. In summer, the water stays cool all year round, and some visitors swim there.
