Carrière Wellington
The Wellington Quarry is a First World War remembrance site in Arras, in the Pas-de-Calais. This network of underground galleries played a major role in the capture of the German lines and saved the lives of many Allied soldiers by taking them through the subsoil. It is part of the 19 kilometres of underground quarries beneath Arras.
