Carnuta, Maison de l'Homme et de la forêt

Sarthe, Pays de la Loire

Carnuta, Maison de l'Homme et de la Forêt, is a playful museum in the village of Jupilles, in the Sarthe, in the heart of the Bercé forest.

An interactive discovery area, combining texts, sounds, images and smells, presents the relationship between people and the forest.

Carnuta is also a gateway to the Bercé forest, where visitors can walk after their visit. About 75% of the forest is oak, some trees nearly 300 years old and impressively tall.
