Aquarium d'Amnéville

Moselle, Grand Est

The Amnéville aquarium is on Rue du Tigre, in the Amnéville-les-Thermes leisure complex, in the Moselle, about thirty minutes from Metz and about an hour from Luxembourg. It opened in 1989 and offers an aquatic world tour, from the Amazon to the Indian Ocean via the African lakes and the Pacific.

The route is divided into several themed areas. You meet sharks, rays, seahorses, jellyfish, piranhas, clownfish and living corals. The great shark tank, where moray eels also swim, is the climax of the visit.

The aquarium also has a touch tank and a barefoot trail, as well as a virtual-reality option. These features make it an outing particularly suited to children and families, including on bad-weather days since the visit is entirely covered.

The neighbouring zoo lets you extend the day on the same site.
