Terra Botanica

Terra Botanica is a theme park devoted to plants in Angers, in the Maine-et-Loire (Pays de la Loire). It opened on 10 April 2010 and is organised in five worlds: the Mysteries of the Forest, the Origins of Life, Unusual Plants, Escape to Anjou and the Great Explorations.

Its attractions and exploration trails include the Botanical Odyssey, the 4D Adventure, the Bayou Adventure, the Birds' Canopy, the little plant train, the Giants' Trail and the Nutshell Voyage. A balloon offers a view of the site from above, weather permitting. The park also has shows, a butterfly house, trails and, at certain times, a night-time sound-and-light walk.

It is aimed at families and children of all ages, as well as school groups, and opens seasonally.
