Sentier de la corraterie
The Corraterie path follows a narrow ledge at the foot of the Salève cliffs, in Haute-Savoie, offering an airy route with views of the Geneva basin and the Jura. The classic route starts from Collonges-sous-Salève, crosses the Orjobet cave then the Trou de la Tine, a remarkable rock arch, before running along the wall under the Savoy Cross painted on the rock. Chamois readily frequent the high pastures at the forest edge, particularly early in the morning. Very busy at weekends, this path remains one of the most popular routes of the massif.
