Roche à sept Heures

Ardennes, Grand Est

The Roche à Sept Heures is a rocky spur overlooking the commune of Monthermé, in the Ardennes, in the heart of the Ardennes Regional Nature Park. From the promontory the view plunges onto the tight meander of the Meuse around the town, one of the most photographed landscapes of the valley.

Upstream can be seen the Laval-Dieu district and its old factories, then Château-Regnault and the four characteristic points of the Rocher des Quatre Fils Aymon. A railing allows the view to be enjoyed safely, making this one of the emblematic viewpoints of the Ardennes massif, reached by hiking paths above the valley.
