Puy Saint-Vincent
At the gateway to the Écrins National Park, in the Hautes-Alpes, the ski resort of Puy-Saint-Vincent consists of three hamlets, Le Puy, Les Alberts and Les Prés, stepped on a sunny shelf at around 1,400 metres. This commanding position gives it a superb view over the Vallouise valley.
Higher up, on the slopes of La Pendine and the Col de la Pousterle, meadows and plateaus dotted with chalets dominate. It is on these pastures that the resort has gradually grown and modernised, with residential buildings and new lifts at 1,600 and then 1,800 metres.
