Phare de Trézien
The Trézien lighthouse is at Plouarzel, in the Finistère, about 1.5 km from the Pointe du Corsen, some 500 metres from the shore. Built in 1894, it is a directional lighthouse: aligned with the Kermorvan light, it allows safe use of the Four channel. Its tower measures 37 metres.
The visit is guided and includes the climb of 182 steps, rewarded by a panorama over the Iroise sea. In the keeper's house, an exhibition presents the marking of the Four channel.
The site has undergone works and closures; its reopening to the public was announced for summer 2026, with visits during the European Heritage Days. A car park is laid out nearby. It is advisable to check opening with the tourist office before coming.
