Parc des Félins
The Parc des Félins is a zoological park specialising in the breeding and conservation of felines, at Lumigny-Nesles-Ormeaux, in Seine-et-Marne, about an hour's drive from Paris. It opened to the public on 14 October 2006, after the move from the old Auneau park, which had become too small, from which a large part of the animals came.
Of the forty-one species of felines recorded in the world, the park presents about thirty, species and subspecies combined: Siberian tigers, white tigers, snow leopards, lions, Pallas's cats, lynx, cheetahs, among others. In the centre of the park, an area hosts lemurs that move about in complete freedom.
The site offers several walking routes, a train circuit and a 4D film. The neighbouring Terre des Singes estate completes the offer with safaris to observe primates and birds from around the world.
