At Hunawihr, in Alsace, on the wine route, the Parc des Cigognes et des Loutres was created in 1976 in the heart of former marshland.
A self-guided walk along a path that circles this five-hectare wildlife park reveals the lives of storks and otters. The park is permanently home to more than 150 storks, about twenty pairs of which nest on site.
