Parc Animalier de la Colline Enchantée
The Parc Animalier de la Colline Enchantée is an animal park in the Charente covering about ten hectares. It brings together common and exotic animals: dromedaries, raccoons, wallabies, ostriches, emus, llamas, Corsican mouflons, red deer, fallow deer, yaks, antelopes, American bison, porcupines and rheas, as well as farm animals.
The site also has an exhibition of old farm machinery tracing the mechanisation of agriculture, and an educational discovery farm for schools.
The park's current status could not be confirmed: its official website was unreachable when checked. It is best to enquire with the tourist office before planning a visit.
