Musée Marc Chagall
The Marc Chagall Museum, as its name suggests, is devoted to the work of the Belarusian-born painter. It does not set out to give an exhaustive panorama of his output, but rather to highlight one specific theme of his work.
The museum was built on the artist's initiative to bring together, in a single place built for the purpose, his most important work on the Bible: the seventeen canvases of the Biblical Message (1954–1967).
