Musée du pays du Der

The Musée du Pays du Der was created to keep the memory of the three vanished villages, Nuisement-aux-Bois, Chantecoq and Champaubert, when Lac du Der-Chantecoq was filled, inaugurated on 3 January 1974 to regulate floods of the Marne and the Seine.

Various gardens such as the herb garden with its medicinal plants, the kitchen garden of forgotten vegetables, the arboretum hedge, the conservation orchard as well as the educational pond, its frogs and insects complete this visit.
