Centre d'interprétation de la Marne
Set on the former Champagne front, the Marne 14–18 Interpretation Centre is at the crossroads of the Verdun and Chemin des Dames sites. It offers a lively, modern and humanist presentation of the First World War. A rich iconographic collection and many testimonies left by soldiers and civilians show all the intensity and horror of the conflict.
Come and discover the story of the PAPILLON family, through an original film adapted from the war correspondence between three brothers at the front and their sister at the rear. Made of archive images and reconstructions, this film is an original document, moving and faithful to the period.
