Musée des beaux-arts de Rouen
The Fine Arts Museum brings together one of the most prestigious collections in France. Paintings, sculptures, drawings and objets d'art of all schools from the 15th century to today stand side by side on a chronological route: Perugino, Veronese, Rubens, Caravaggio, Velázquez, Ribera or Poussin. The nineteenth century is the other summit of the museum's collection through the abundance and breadth of the artistic movements represented and the number of reference works by the greatest painters: Ingres, Géricault, Delacroix… The Depeaux donation in 1909 made the Rouen Fine Arts Museum the second Impressionist collection in France, which today includes the greatest masters such as Monet, Sisley, Caillebotte, Pissarro, Degas and Renoir.
