Musée de la Guerre 39/45

Finistère, Bretagne

According to its original listing, this museum devoted to the Second World War is in Roscoff, in the Finistère, and displays a collection of vehicles, weapons, uniformed mannequins, photographs and period documents. The Finistère was occupied from 1940 to 1944 and still has many remains from that period, notably bunkers along the coast.

No recent source could confirm that this museum in Roscoff still exists or is open: it is best to contact the local tourist office before going. In the same département, the Mémoires 39-45 museum in Plougonvelin, set in a bunker near the Pointe Saint-Mathieu, is another site devoted to this period.
