Monts Jura
Monts Jura is a resort in the Jura massif, in the Pays de Gex, in the Ain, on the Swiss border and not far from Geneva. It groups three alpine ski sites, Lélex-Crozet, Mijoux-La Faucille and Menthières, linked by a common pass. The area extends from about 995 to 1,680 metres' altitude, in the Haut-Jura Regional Nature Park.
In winter, you can do alpine skiing, cross-country skiing, notably towards La Vattay, snowshoeing and sledging. In summer, the mountain is explored mainly on foot or by bicycle, by hiking and mountain biking, and some activities such as rail luge are offered there all year round.
The Lélex gondola, the Catheline, is to be replaced and shortened according to a timetable announced for 2026. Season information should be confirmed with the resort's official site.
