The Mine Témoin of Alès is a mining site in Alès, in the Gard. Open to the public since 1985, it presents a retrospective of coal mining in the Alès coalfield. Its displays were entirely redesigned in 2010.
A mining structure unique in France, the Mine Témoin was created just after the Second World War as a training mine.

This museum is the work of an internationally renowned Finnish scientist: Mr Eirik Granqvist.
