The Haribo Sweet Museum at Uzès, in the Gard, uses a playful, interactive display to present the story of the brand, from the small Zan liquorice factory to one of the largest confectionery companies in the world, and the importance of communication, from early advertising to modern publicity.
There is a room of sweet-making machines, including the Car-en-Sac bagging machine, a very fine collection of unique 19th-century posters by the greatest illustrators of the time, explanations of manufacturing processes and recipes, and plenty of interactive games for children.
