Maison de la Baie
Set in an old longère on the shore, the Maison de la Baie, at Vains-Saint-Léonard, is an interpretation centre on the fauna, flora and human activities in the Bay of Mont-Saint-Michel. Near the Pointe du Grouin du Sud preserved by the Conservatoire du Littoral and the town of Saint-Léonard, classified as a "Heritage Village", the Maison is the starting point for walks along the coast and crossings of the Bay.
The ecomuseum of the Bay of Mont-Saint-Michel, opened in 2001 under the name Maison de la Baie, is at Vains, in the hamlet of Saint-Léonard, in the Manche. It is devoted to the formation and life of the Bay of Mont-Saint-Michel.
