Loubressac
The flowered lanes of Loubressac converge on a shaded square where the church of the twelfth and sixteenth centuries rises. Capped with old tiles, the medieval limestone houses light up with the warm glow of the sun. Overlooked by its castle on a natural promontory, the village offers a wide view over the Dordogne and Bave valley. From Loubressac, many hiking paths set off linking all the surrounding hamlets. Criss-crossing them, the visitor will discover at random fountains or dolmens, and emerge on the nearby Causse.
