Les Menuires

Savoie, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes

Les Menuires is a winter sports resort in the Savoie, in the Belleville valley, between Saint-Martin-de-Belleville and Val Thorens, at about 1,800 metres. Created in the 1960s, it is organised in several districts, including Les Bruyères, Reberty, Les Fontanettes and La Croisette.

Its ski area, linked to that of Saint-Martin-de-Belleville, is part of the Three Valleys, which also includes Méribel, Courchevel and Val Thorens. This is one of the largest linked ski areas in the world, allowing skiers to reach the other valleys without taking off their skis.

The resort is designed with residences accessible directly from the slopes. In summer the Belleville valley, its pastures and high villages offer hiking and mountain-biking routes in a high-mountain landscape at the gateway to the Vanoise National Park.
