Les gorges de la Carança

The Carança gorges, in the Pyrénées-Orientales, are reached from Thuès-entre-Valls by car or by the Yellow Train, the little tourist railway that crosses the Cerdagne from Villefranche-de-Conflent and Vernet-les-Bains.

The narrow, picturesque gorges offer a breathtaking landscape of ledge paths above sheer drops and swaying footbridges over the torrent. Take great care with children, and the walk is not suitable for anyone who suffers from vertigo.
