Le Bois des Aigles

Eure, Normandie

Le Bois des Aigles is a bird-of-prey park at Bâlines, in the Eure, in Normandy, in the Avre valley. The site extends over about five hectares of woodland, where a circuit of aviaries lets you see up close many birds of prey from different continents.

You see eagles, buzzards, falcons, owls and vultures, including some rare species such as the Chilean blue eagle or the snowy owl. A flight show is presented, as well as the training of young raptors, indoors or outdoors depending on the weather.

The park also offers activities for children and families: wooden games, inflatable structures, face-painting and mask-making workshops, as well as a shop and light refreshments. Falconry courses are open from age seven, and birthday packages are offered.

No recent information could be confirmed: it is best to check opening before going.
