The Cité de la Mer in Normandy is THE place devoted to the underwater world that you must not miss! The theme park presents fascinating interactive exhibitions always highlighting man within the abyssal adventure… More than 2 million people have already toured the site through its 3 hubs (3 to 4 hours' visit). The Submarine Hub with the discovery of the Redoutable*, the largest visitable submarine in the world. The Ocean Hub where young and old marvel at the deepest Abyssal Aquarium in Europe but also at the 16 other themed tanks and "we walked under the sea": a virtual adventure to live as a family! New in 2011: the Grande Galerie des Engins et des Hommes: new manned submarines, emblematic of deep diving, invade the Reception Nave: Alvin (American), Mir (Russian), Shinkai (Japanese)...
