Jardin des plantes
Created under the Second Empire between 1852 and 1855, thanks to the bequest of Monsieur Quesnel-Morinière, the Jardin des Plantes is one of the oldest in Normandy. This park offers a harmonious marriage of French symmetry, English groves and Italian terraces. A collection of rare trees, superb flower beds, other beds in carpet bedding, and a maze make it a privileged place for walking and daydreaming. It has been on the supplementary inventory of Historic Monuments since 1992.
