FRAC Centre
The Frac Centre-Val de Loire, housed in Les Turbulences in Orléans, is a regional contemporary art fund devoted to art and architecture. Its collection brings together works and models by architects and artists, with pieces such as "Moon Base 01" by Luca Galofaro or "Mesonic Fabric 3" by Biothing, which can also be explored online.
The venue offers temporary exhibitions, such as "Circus", around Calder's Circus, scheduled for autumn 2026, as well as a hanging of the collection entitled "Informe". Guided tours are aimed at individuals, families and school groups.
The Frac also organises workshops, lectures, evening meetings and days for teachers, as well as projects with the districts of Orléans. It takes part every year in the national Architecture Days.
It is an interesting stop for the curious about architecture and design, families and school groups.
