Fondation Bemberg - Hôtel d'Assézat
A short distance from the Place Esquirol in Toulouse, in the Haute-Garonne, the Hôtel d'Assézat is a mansion built in 1555-1557 to plans by Nicolas Bachelier, the greatest Toulouse architect of the Renaissance.
Behind a monumental wooden gate lies an inner courtyard, renovated in 1993. The building houses the museum of the Bemberg Foundation, which presents an art collection, mainly paintings, from the 15th to the early 20th century.
