Falaises de l'Hautil
West of Paris, the Hautil massif overlooks the Oise and Seine valleys and the plains of the French Vexin. It rises to 191 metres, making it one of the highest points in Île-de-France.
Better known for its old gypsum quarries, which have an unfortunate tendency to collapse, the Hautil plateau is a real green oasis, home to much more than roe deer and sparrowhawks.
