Domaine de Saint-Jean-de-Beauregard

Essonne, Île-de-France

Set among fields and woods, the Château de Saint-Jean-de-Beauregard, in the Essonne, has kept all the charm and elegance of its 17th-century surroundings: a château furnished and lived in all year round, the largest dovecote in Île-de-France and a remarkable French-style flowering kitchen garden, unique for the diversity and rarity of its plant collections.

In this garden of delights, rare or forgotten flowers, fruit and vegetables form rich combinations that change constantly with the seasons.

In April and September, the plant fairs draw plant and garden lovers, and in June the craft fair showcases the best of traditional and contemporary craftsmanship.
