Disneyland-Paris
Disneyland Paris opened on 12 April 1992 at Chessy and Coupvray, in Seine-et-Marne, about 32 kilometres east of Paris. The complex covers 22.3 km². It includes two theme parks, Disneyland Park and Disney Adventure World (formerly Walt Disney Studios), seven Disney hotels, the Disney Village entertainment district and golf facilities.
It is the leading paid tourist destination in France and Europe, with 15.8 million visitors in 2024 for the two parks. More than 17,000 employees work there, making it the largest single-site employer in France.
Since 2024, the former Walt Disney Studios has been renamed Disney Adventure World. An expansion programme of about 2 billion euros is under way, including in particular a new land devoted to Frozen.
The Walt Disney Company has held more than 97% of Euro Disney's capital since 2017.
