Corderie Royale - Centre International de la mer

The Corderie Royale - Centre International de la Mer is a large museum complex in the heart of the naval arsenal of Rochefort, in the Charente-Maritime. The town holds the 'Ville d'Art et d'Histoire' label and has an urban heritage of exceptional historical, architectural and cultural richness.

Rochefort is also a spa town and a tourist destination with nearly ten museums, 30 kilometres south of La Rochelle, with which it increasingly shares its historical and cultural assets.
