Cité des Tanneurs
In 1811 there were eleven tanneries on the banks of the river at Lavausseau, in the Vienne. In a picturesque atmosphere, the tanner, working in front of visitors, still uses a traditional production process with vats and barrels nearly a century old.
The guided visit covers the tannery and also the commandery in the village of Lavausseau.
