Château de Failloux
Raised as a fief, the Château de Failloux was built in the 18th century in the Vosges, a few minutes from the historic centre of Épinal.
Its gate bears asymmetrical Louis XV motifs decorated with cascades of musical instruments. In the middle of the French formal garden stands a sandstone basin topped by a water monster, fed by a spring that recalls the spa tradition of the region, of which Plombières is a fine example.
The château is now a private guest house and reception venue and is not open to visitors.
