Cascade du ruisseau des Mortes du Guéry
The Mortes de Guéry stream, which rises on the slopes of the Puy Gros in the Puy-de-Dôme, feeds Lac de Guéry, the highest natural lake in Auvergne at 1,244 metres' altitude. On its way, it forms a waterfall tumbling down a cliff of basalt columns from an old lava flow. The site is reached in about twenty minutes' walk from the Col de Guéry, along a marked discovery path.
